Pair of silver kings taken out of Grindstone.

Here is our first morning out of Ludington on our 2000 trip there. This is proof that you can catch fish in the rain. For this day we had 160 pounds of fish (pictured here) in the morning and 50 pounds of fish that evening. Which is a 200 pound day, if you do the math. 3 of the fish here went over 20 pound. There is also a 9 lbs. brown that were caught on the right.

This is the only 200 pound day on the Lake Huron side for the Fishing Team. The date of this catch was Aug. 4, 2000. We kept a five man limit of Kings. For this year, we caught a total of 3 fish over 20 pounds on the Lake Huron side and we caught all 3 on this day. We fished the wreck, out of Rockport, for this catch. The total weight of this catch was 214 pounds.

This is 200 Pound day that we had out of Ludington on Aug. 14, 2000. Smallest fish in this pic is 17 pounds, and 4 of them are over 20 pounds. At one point on this trip we had 5 fish on at once, and managed to land 4 of them.

This is a 200 Pound day that we had out of Ludington on Aug. 15, 2000. A lot of fun for 3 guys. The smallest fish on the board is 15 pounds. 4 of the fish are over 20 pounds.  Yes, we are wearing the same shirts as above. This was my fish cleaning shirt for the weekend.

This started out to be one of the more boring days out trolling for Salmon.  We were fishing out of Port Austin in July and had 0 bits for the first 2 hours.  Then, this Walleye hit a Green Dolphin on a Fullcore off of the planer board.  Adam King grabbed the rod and reeled it it.  It went 9 lb. 3 oz. and 30 inches, qualifying it for a Master Angler, Catch and Release division.  As soon as we let that walleye go, we ended up having over 20 salmon & Trout bite after the slow start.
