Fished the muskie opener on Lake St. Clair this weekend. We had a really fun time. We boated around 25 muskies over the two days. Most of them were juvenile fish and we did not even need the net for them. But we did manage a 52 1/8" fish Saturday evening that weighed 29.75 pounds and Sunday we got a 45" fish.
Congrats to the winning fish:
1st - Phil Garofalo - Team Peppino - 34.85lb, 51 7/8" length, 21" girth. Successfully Released.
2nd - Mike Ross - Team Gore-May - 33.40lb, 52 7/8" length, 20 3/4" girth. Successfully Released.
3rd - Justin Krupsky - Team Blaze of Glory - 33.20lb, 50 1/2" length, 22" girth. Successfully Released.Crew - Captain Adam Heinrich, Mike Rymar, Steve, Trevor
